Jennifer Chow, O.D.

 As a resident of Las Vegas for most of her life, Dr. Jennifer Chow has watched the city grow from the inside out. She attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and after graduating from the optometry program at the University of California, Berkeley, she returned to Las Vegas as an optometrist. While she found that the face of Las Vegas was beginning to change, Dr. Chow was ready to begin serving the community's healthcare needs.

"Las Vegas has really expanded," she says, "and is becoming more culturally diverse." It is also the array of generations that interests Dr. Chow in her practice. "I get to interact with people of many ages-I see the whole gamut," she says, adding that her patients range from infants to senior citizens.

Dr. Chow's own family heritage has played a large role in her life and profession. "My biggest inspiration are my parents," she says. "They came as immigrants to this country from China and instilled in me the drive to work hard at a young age."

When she's not in the office, Dr. Chow is still hard at work staying fit. She can be found swinging a racquet on the tennis court or doing yoga and Pilates.
